Pashiz (Bronze, 23 mm, 1.00 g, 7 h), Arab Sasanian type 'Gyanbud', derived from Byzantine issues showing Heraclius and his eldest son Heraclius Constantine, Uncertain mint, circa AH 60-100 = AD 680-720 . On the right, small draped bust, resembling Heraclius Constantine, facing; on the left, larger draped bust, resembling Heraclius, facing; between busts, 'llah' in Arabic; to the left, perhaps 'abzon' ('growth' in Pahlawi); to the right, blundered legend. Rev. 'Gyanbud' in Pahlawi flanked by attendant standing facing on the left and blundered legend in Pahlawi on the right. Gyselen 80. Very rare. Small cut, otherwise, about very fine.
